Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe (HCEE) appoints new Construction Equipment dealer in Norway

Wednesday 17 April 2019 • Press releases

EMSG Norge - New Hyundai Dealer

EMS Group Norge AS (`EMSG´) based in Frogner, Norway, has recently been appointed as the new Construction Equipment dealer for Norway. EMS is not completely new to the Hyundai family as EMSG’s group company in Sweden has been an official Construction Equipment dealer for Hyundai Construction Equipment since 2005.

EMSG is a privately-owned company managed by CEO Finn Thrane Johansen. EMSG has more than 15 years of combined experience in construction equipment sales and is particularly familiar with the Hyundai brand. The company is an expert in providing complex solutions in the construction equipment area and will now commercialise the complete Construction Equipment range of HCEE in Norway.

Commenting on the new partnership, EMSG’s CEO Finn Thrane Johansen said, “We believe in establishing a long-term collaboration with Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe based on a mutual partnership approach. The proof lies in the creation of the dealership for Norway. We strongly believe in the high quality and benefits that Hyundai machines provide to its customers and assess this as a unique opportunity to scale up our activities. Again, we want to thank the whole team from HCEE for the sound support they are giving us in this start-up phase. At EMSG we are enthusiastic about the Hyundai brand and we aim to offer our customers a professional level of service at all times.”

Commenting on the new partnership, Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe Senior Director, Alain Worp, said, “We at HCEE are proud and satisfied with the appointment of EMSG as our new importer in Norway. Hyundai has a long history in the Norwegian market and we are confident that with the appointment of EMSG we can make the necessary steps forward in the future and grow our presence in the biggest Scandinavian market. The EMSG team has a lot of expertise with HCEE already and will be up to speed in no time. Their extensive team stands out in the field of sales, service and spare parts; so we are confident about their potential. We at Hyundai will continue to support EMSG as well as our many customers who operate and own Hyundai construction equipment in the Norwegian market. We thank all existing and future Hyundai users for the trust they have put in the brand.
