Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe appoints new Director for Material Handling Europe

In close cooperation with Hyundai’s branches and European dealer network, Peter Verbiest will lead the European Sales department, the After Sales department and the Product Support team. He will be developing and implementing commercial strategies with focus on long-term partnerships while securing HCEE’s business objectives in Europe. Peter Verbiest is based at the European headquarters in Tessenderlo, Belgium, and speaks fluent Dutch, French, German and English.


“Peter Verbiest brings an in-depth business industry experience with him. He will now head up the Material Handling business unit where he will manage and lead the European division. Europe remains one of the key focus areas for the global MH business in the next coming years. The hiring of Peter Verbiest will accelerate the next steps. We are happy in welcoming Peter Verbiest into our Hyundai family,” said Johan Thiels, HR Director at HCEE.


“The European Material Handling business is expected to grow positively during the coming years and therefore our opportunities to grow the MH business and strengthen our market share are also strong.
