We always prepare and wait for every New Year with big expectation when the year is starting but current global economic situation and gloomy outlook puts us hardly to be positive for the next year, especially in Europe.

I, nevertheless, propose you to be positive for coming years and developing our future together. In order to grow together and upgrade mutual cooperation with our dealer Hyundai has to make growth engines by ourselves not from somewhere else in this crisis.

Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe (HHIE) announces the appointment of Milan Wamsteker as Marketing Manager at its European headquarters in Geel, Belgium.

Mr. Wamsteker has a Dutch background and has previously worked for companies like GM Daewoo/Chevrolet, DAF Trucks and Rettig ICC. He has held several positions in the area of Sales and Marketing as well on national as on European level.

His knowledge & experience should support Hyundai Heavy Industries to make the next step towards global leadership in the Construction Equipment and Forklift business.

Rent Srl, our new Hyundai construction dealer in Italy

Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe is gradually completing its coverage of the Italian construction equipment market. Since 1st of February 2011, Rent Srl from Bagnacavallo, in the province of Ravenna, is the new dealer for Hyundai in Italy.

By expanding their dealer network we want to get closer to the customers in a proactive way because we value the quality of our client relationship.

Rent will sell Hyundai construction machines. They join the Hyundai family after fifteen years of collaboration with Liebherr, which ended recently. The president of Rent, Valerio Venturini, says: “With Hyundai, I found a product of high quality, with competitive prices and most of all, more attention to the dealer contact, the information he needs and to the professional growth”.

Europe’s first Hyundai R800LC-7A is kept fully employed at Europe’s largest recycling operation of the Steenkorrel enterprise in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Operating in a 30-mile radius, the family-owned business is no stranger to large excavators. Many of these are employed in the demolition sector where another Steenkorrel division – Oudt Zwanenburg Demolition – is regularly called on to knock down seriously large buildings.
