The company started as Axiál Bt. (Axiál Limited Partnership) in 1991 as a family enterprise in Baja, which has been the centre of the company up to now. It is owned by the Harsányi family.
Till 1994, the company distributed Zetor spare parts. In 1996, it was converted to Limited Liability Company (Axiál Kft.)and marketing of machines was taken up into the activities. The quality-oriented work of our management enabled us to obtain exclusive distributor’s rights for several worldwide brands, such as Claas machines, Fendt tractors, Manitou loaders and person lifters, and Hyundai transport trucks and earthmoving machines.
The cooperation contract with Hyundai was signed in June 2004. Since then, we had attractive results and gained decisive role on the Hungarian market. Last year, we had nearly 25 % market share and were the second biggest distributor of tracked excavators. Axiál Kft. now has numerous regular customers who purchased their third or fourth machine this year, indicating the rise of Hyundai brand in Hungary.
Especial interest is paid to the ongoing development of the company’s service branch, which today is a prerequisite of the success in selling of machines. We have 114 service employees, of which 72 mobile service technicians who attend faulty machines day and night, right on the spot. Last year, our mechanics drove nearly 2 million kilometres.
Axiál Kft. Today has 15 depots in 13 towns of Hungary. The construction of a new depot is to be started in next year in Budapest, the focus of Hungarian building industry. In Baja, our new 4,200 m2 large (good for 4000 EUR palettes) logistic centre will be opened at the end of this year.
