Hi-Mate is a GPS based technology to track, trace and monitor Hyundai machines.
Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe (HHIE) presents Hi-Mate, its exclusive Remote Management System, which uses GPS technology to enable machine owners to track, trace and monitor their Hyundai fleet, anytime and anywhere.
Hi-Mate uses GPS & GIS (Geographic Information System) to pinpoint the exact location of, and to retrieve data from Hyundai equipment at any location. The input is analyzed on HHI’s main server and used to feed the Hi-Mate online application through which users can access the system.
The application provides its users with a wide range of features that allow them to visualise the machine’s location as well as to follow up on some performance indicators like fuel consumption, coolant temperature, pump pressure, etc. It is also possible to diagnose the machines online and even to completely shut down the machine, making it impossible to operate, in case of unauthorised use or theft.
Hi-Mate users will be able to easily check operators’ driving habits and the equipment’s maintenance status. Spare parts stock and logistics management can now be better synchronized, limiting machine maintenance and down time. Hi-Mate will also allow Hyundai service engineers to better assist in the event of a malfunction in the hydraulic system, electric system, or engine. And even to HHI’s Research and Development
department, the information gathered by Hi-Mate will be of great use while working on the next generation of Hyundai construction equipment.
In short, Hi-Mate will give added security and peace of mind to owners and operators. It will not only help to ensure that machines are properly maintained and operating costs controlled, but also further enhance the Hyundai product value and reputation. HHIE plans to include Hi-Mate hardware in its -9 Series construction equipment, which will be introduced in Europe in due time, allowing -9 Series owners to initiate subscription to the software at any time.
