Congratulations Tony!- Antonio Cairoli wins MX1 Title at Braun Grand Prix of The Netherlands, De Dycker and Musquin win the GP -

LIEROP (THE NETHERLANDS), 30 August 2009 – The Braun Grand Prix of The Netherlands assigned the first of the two remaining Titles as Cairoli won his maiden MX1 Championship despite a damaged left knee.

Desalle takes maiden GP win at Casino Bonver GP of Czech RepublicLOKET (CZECH REPUBLIC), 9 August 2009 – Taking victory at the Casino Bonver GP of Czech Republic Desalle conquered his first ever GP success while Paulin came back to victory after Faenza.

It was a tough day for the leaders of both Championships Cairoli and Musquin. The first struggled with a severe cold and ended fourth overall while Musquin’s bike had a problem in heat two, with the Frenchman pulling out with no points.

Nagl and Philippaerts completed the MX1 podium while Goncalves and Boog rounded off the MX2 rostrum.

15 year old Roczen wins at home becoming the youngest GP winner ever-Cairoli wins MX1TEUTSCHENTHAL (GERMANY), 21 June 2009 – A healthy German crowd enjoyed a superb home Grand Prix with 15 year old Ken Roczen becoming the youngest GP winner ever at his home event. Cairoli took the MX1 overall win ahead of local hero Nagl, who had won the first heat after a dogfight with the Championship leader. De Dycker was third. In MX2 the podium was completed by Frossard and series leader Musquin.

Philippaerts back to victory in MX1-Musquin builds on Championship lead ahead of home GPKIRKBY MALLORY (GREAT BRITAIN), 31 May 2009 – A great weekend of motorcycle racing in Mallory Park, starting with the SuperMoto Grand Prix, ended today with David Philippaerts winning the MX1 Grand Prix and Marvin Musquin the MX2. Both started from pole which they took through yesterday’s qualifying heat wins. Nagl and Desalle completed the MX1 podium while Championship leader Cairoli ended eighth overall after yesterday’s crash. Frossard and Paulin completed the podium behind red plate holder Musquin.

Barragan becomes first ever Spaniard to win home GPBELLPUIG (SPAIN), 17 May 2009 – Courtesy of a thrilling victory Jonathan Barragan became the first ever Spaniard to win a Motocross GP at home in Spain since 1962, the year of the first ever Spanish GP.

A final lap dogfight in the second MX2 heat handed the first ever overall win to a surprised Jeremy van Horebeek. The MX1 podium was completed by Philippaerts and Cairoli while an all KTM MX2 podium saw Goncalves second and Boissiere third.
Cairoli keeps leading the MX1 standings ahead of Barragan while Musquin became the new MX2 red plate holder ahead of round seven to be held at Mallory Park, Great Britain, in two weeks.

Goncalves continues winning streak in front of home crowd-Cairoli wins MX1AGUEDA (PORTUGAL), 10 May 2009 – A fantastic Portuguese Grand Prix ended with Rui Goncalves’ home win, which was a great achievement for the Factory MX2 KTM rider and his second consecutive GP win as well. Tony Cairoli came back to victory in MX1 where he dominated both motos and consolidated his Championship lead. Though a contact between Cairoli and defending Champion Philippaerts during a partially wet second moto saw the latter pull out with a broken left index-Philippaerts will be present next weekend at Bellpuig anyways.
